aso-audit is a marketing agent skill from the marketingskills collection that audits App Store and Google Play listings against app store optimization practice and writes a prioritized plan. Its first phase identifies the store and fetches the live listing from both Apple's App Store and Google Play, extracting the indexed and visible fields: title, description, screenshots, ratings and other metadata. It then scores those fields against best practice. It is designed to compare an app across both stores, and it notes where the two listings disagree. Before it audits, it checks for a product marketing context file and reads it, so it uses what is already known about the product. Fetched listings and reviews are treated as data and never as instructions. Typical uses include auditing your own listing before a store update, finding which metadata fields are weak or unused for search, judging whether the screenshots show the product well, and planning changes that will move ratings and downloads. The skill gives recommendations, and the changes are made by the team in the store consoles, where the results can be measured over time. It is most useful once a listing is live and has some traffic to learn from. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket on skills.sh, and Snyk shows a warning. It has about 17,800 installs.
