1. Using dotstore

dotstore is a catalog of web apps. You can browse without an account. An account lets you save apps to your store, upvote launches, and submit your own app.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to create an account.

2. Your account

You can sign up with email and password, Google or GitHub. Keep your sign-in details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current.

3. Account emails

By creating an account, you agree that we may email you about things that matter for your account, including:

• sign-in, verification and security alerts;
• password resets and changes to your sign-in methods;
• the status of apps or launches you submit;
• material changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy.

These are service messages, not marketing, so you can't opt out of them while you keep an account. We won't send newsletters or promotions unless you choose to receive them separately.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use dotstore to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• manipulate votes or rankings, including with multiple accounts or bots;
• submit malware, phishing or deceptive apps;
• scrape, overload or interfere with the service;
• harass other people or impersonate anyone.

5. Apps and launches you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, describe and promote it on dotstore and in related channels.

You confirm you have the right to submit it and that the information is accurate. We may edit listings for clarity, and we may decline or remove any submission at our discretion.

6. Third-party apps

Apps listed here are made by other people. We curate, but we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your data. Your use of any listed app is governed by its own terms.

7. Sponsored placements

Some placements are paid. They're always labeled (for example “Sponsored”) and never affect votes or organic rankings.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using dotstore and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — like licenses you granted and limits of liability — continue after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers and liability

dotstore is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from third-party apps.

Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll email account holders and update the date above before it takes effect. Continuing to use dotstore after that means you accept the updated Terms. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
