Trace every user-facing button/touchpoint through its full state change sequence
by affaan-mFree
Description
click-path-audit is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It traces each user-facing button or control through the full sequence of state changes it sets off. The point is to find bugs that unit checks miss: a function works on its own, but a later call silently undoes it, or two shared-state updates cancel each other out. The skill's example is a New Email button that sets compose mode on and then clears the selected thread, where a side effect in the second call switched compose mode back off, so the button did nothing. Checks go beyond whether a function exists or returns the right type, asking instead whether the final UI state matches what the label promises. It is most useful in apps with shared state such as Zustand, Redux or context. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source.…
