create-cowork-plugin
Guide users through creating a new plugin from scratch in a cowork session
by anthropicsFree
Description
create-cowork-plugin is a skill from Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins, listed on skills.sh. It guides a user through creating a new plugin from scratch in a Cowork session, through a conversation. A plugin is a self-contained folder that adds skills, agents, hooks and connections to MCP servers to Claude's abilities. The skill runs five phases: discovery, to understand what the user wants to build; component planning, to decide which kinds of part are needed; design and clarifying questions, to specify each part; implementation, to create the files; and review and packaging, to deliver a ready-to-install plugin file. Throughout, the conversation stays in plain language, so the user hears what the plugin will do rather than file paths or schema fields, unless they ask for those. It suits people who have an idea for an automation or a set of skills for their own team and want to turn it into a plugin without learning the plugin format first.…
