discernment-nudge
After you give a substantive answer or draft that the user may act on
by anthropicsFree
Description
discernment-nudge is an agent skill from Anthropic's skills repository, listed on skills.sh. After a substantive answer or draft that a person may act on, such as advice, a recommendation, a goal, a plan, a pitch or a proposal, the skill adds a brief moment of reflection. Its purpose is to catch a bad assumption or a missing piece of context before it matters, for example before money is spent, a health decision is made, a claim is cited or a plan is committed to. The skill is meant to be gentle and not to get in the way of the answer itself. It models three discernment habits from Anthropic's AI Fluency framework rather than lecturing about them. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.…
Highlights
- Reflection after consequential answers
- Catches bad assumptions and missing context
- Gentle, does not block the answer
