fingerprint-ci-gate
Gate a build on browser fingerprint regressions with liarjs
by liarjsdevFree
Description
Fingerprint CI gate is an agent skill for failing a build when a browser's fingerprint gets worse. A regression in fingerprint consistency can go unnoticed until traffic starts being rejected weeks later, so the skill turns the check into something visible in a pull request. It runs a liarjs scan, saves the result as a JSON baseline, and compares later runs against that baseline. There are two mechanisms. The first is an absolute floor: with --headless and --min-score set, the job exits with code 1 when the score falls below the number given, such as 60. The second is a comparison against the saved baseline, which catches a drop from an earlier run. The runner needs Node 22 or newer and a Chromium in the container image, and liarjs has no runtime dependencies. The skill advises giving the container enough shared memory, with --shm-size=1g on Docker or a mounted /dev/shm, and leaving Chrome's own sandbox enabled, since a scan that will not start is an image problem to fix in the image. It suits teams that run automated browsers and want continuous integration to block changes that weaken the fingerprint.…
Highlights
- Fails the job when the score drops below a floor
- Compares each run against a saved JSON baseline
- Needs Node 22 or newer and Chromium in the image
- Zero runtime dependencies

fingerprint-ci-gate FAQ
What does the gate do?
It runs a liarjs scan in a build job and fails the job when the fingerprint score falls below a floor or drops against a saved baseline.
Why compare against a baseline?
A regression is easy to miss until it causes rejected traffic. A baseline makes the change show up as a diff in the pull request.
What does the container need?
Node 22 or newer and a Chromium in the image. Give it enough shared memory, with --shm-size=1g on Docker or a /dev/shm mount, and keep Chrome's sandbox enabled.
How do I set the minimum score?
Pass --headless and --min-score with a number, such as 60. The command exits with code 1 when the score is below it.
What does it cost?
The skill is listed as free. liarjs has zero runtime dependencies.
What security audits has it passed?
skills.sh lists three audits: Gen Agent Trust Hub Pass, Socket Pass and Snyk Pass.
What are the best fingerprint-ci-gate alternatives?
