Description
LFG is an agent skill from the Compound Engineering plugin that takes a request through to a finished result without waiting for step-by-step prompts. It reads what the request asks for, picks the Compound Engineering skill whose job that kind of result is, and runs it. A request for a change to code ends with an open pull request, after the change has been implemented, simplified, reviewed with the relevant findings applied and the rest recorded, then committed and pushed. Requests that are not code changes end with the result of the skill that owns them, such as an explanation or a prototype. Code changes are only implemented from a plan that is ready to build or from a fixed result of the debugging skill, so the skill does not start work from a guess. Merging stays with the user unless they granted it for that run. The skill is designed for schedulers, loops and other orchestrators, so it asks questions only through the brainstorming skill and only when a person is present.…
Highlights
- Routes each request to the matching Compound Engineering skill

lfg FAQ
What does lfg do?
It takes a request from start to finish. A change to code goes through planning, implementation, simplification, review and commit, and ends as an open pull request. Other requests end with the result of the matching skill.
Will it change code without a plan?
No. On the routes that change code, it implements only from an implementation-ready plan or from a fixed result of the debugging skill.
Does it merge the pull request?
No, not unless the user granted a merge for that run. Irreversible actions outside what was granted, such as a force-push, stop the run instead.
How do I install it?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/everyinc/compound-engineering-plugin --skill lfg. It is part of the Compound Engineering plugin.
Can it run unattended?
Yes. It is built to run from schedulers and loops, so it carries on with reversible work and shows the result for the user to correct afterward.
What security audits has it passed?
skills.sh lists three audits: Gen Agent Trust Hub Pass, Socket Pass and Snyk Warn. A Warn or Fail is worth reading before you install.
What are the best lfg alternatives?
Popular alternatives to lfg include gh-issues, agentic-os and autonomous-loops. See all lfg alternatives
