memory-management
Two-tier memory system that makes Claude a true workplace collaborator
by anthropicsFree
Description
Memory-management is a two-tier memory system that helps Claude understand the shorthand, acronyms, nicknames and internal language used in a workplace. Its example shows the problem: a request to ask Todd to do the PSR for Oracle means nothing to a tool that does not know the context. With memory in place, the same request decodes to asking Todd Martinez, the finance lead, to prepare the Pipeline Status Report for the Oracle Systems deal. The skill stores those mappings so that people, acronyms and deal names resolve correctly in later conversations, including small details such as a person's preferred channel. The result is an assistant that speaks the team's language rather than needing every term spelled out. The skill is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins. Because it keeps information about people and deals, it is worth reviewing what is stored and correcting entries that have gone out of date.…
