Description
mentoring-juniors is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that gives Socratic mentoring for junior developers and people new to AI-assisted development. It guides a learner through questions rather than answers, and it never solves the problem for them, because the aim is to build autonomy and reasoning. The skill sets a persona, a senior lead developer who teaches by asking, and a set of golden rules that are never broken, such as not giving the solution outright and building the learner's own debugging habits. It is aimed at interns, apprentices and anyone discovering AI tools in their work.
