Description
minimalist-ui is an agent skill in the OpenDesign project that directs an agent to build clean, editorial-style interfaces with a document feel, similar to top workspace products. Its protocol enforces a warm monochrome palette, deliberate typographic hierarchy, generous whitespace, bento-style grids, and a flat component design with muted pastel accents. It sets a list of absolute negative constraints that count as failures. The skill bans the Inter, Roboto and Open Sans typefaces, and it bans generic thin-line icon sets such as Lucide, Feather and Heroicons. Default Tailwind heavy drop shadows are out, and any shadow must be very faint. Large sections are not given bright primary-colored backgrounds, and gradients, neon colors and 3D glassmorphism are excluded, beyond subtle navbar blur. Pill-shaped containers and primary buttons are avoided. The skill also bans emojis anywhere in code, markup, text, headings or alt text, and asks for proper icons or clean SVG shapes in their place. It bans placeholder names such as John Doe, Acme Corp and Lorem Ipsum, and it asks for realistic, specific copy rather than words such as elevate, seamless, unleash, next-gen, game-changer and delve.…
