Description
minimax-music-gen is an agent skill from the minimax-ai skills collection for generating songs, vocal or instrumental, with the MiniMax Music API. It supports two creation modes. Basic mode takes one sentence and returns a song. Advanced Control mode lets you edit lyrics, refine the prompt and plan the track before anything is generated. The skill is triggered when a user wants to create music, songs, audio tracks, song writing or lyrics generation. It relies on the mmx command-line tool, which generates the music, and the skill checks whether mmx is installed before it starts. To install mmx you need Node.js, then run npm install -g mmx-cli. The skill is listed on skills.sh, where the page shows install counts, the repository's GitHub stars and security audit results. It is a music generation skill for an agent, not a standalone music studio, and it needs a MiniMax account and API key to work.…
