Description
nft-standards is an agent skill from the wshobson/agents collection for implementing the Ethereum NFT standards ERC-721 and ERC-1155 in smart contracts. ERC-721 covers one unique token per identifier, and ERC-1155 covers contracts that hold several token types, including fungible and non-fungible ones, in a single contract. The skill is a guide to the parts of building an NFT project that go beyond the base standard: metadata handling, which covers how token information is stored on or off chain and the best practices that keep it reliable, minting strategies, and integration with NFT marketplaces. It also covers advanced features, including soulbound tokens that cannot be transferred, royalties and revenue sharing, and dynamic or evolving NFTs whose metadata changes over time. The skill applies when creating NFT collections for art, games or collectibles, implementing marketplace functionality, building on-chain or off-chain metadata, and designing royalty or transfer rules. Smart contracts that handle value are hard to change once deployed, so the agent's code should be reviewed and audited by people before it is deployed to a live network. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the wshobson/agents repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 10.0K installs, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Snyk passing and Socket showing a warning at the time of the scan.…

nft-standards FAQ
What do ERC-721 and ERC-1155 cover?
ERC-721 is the standard for unique, one-of-a-kind tokens. ERC-1155 lets one contract hold several token types, fungible and non-fungible.
What else does the skill cover?
Metadata best practices, minting strategies, marketplace integration, soulbound tokens, royalties and dynamic NFTs.
Should contracts be audited before deployment?
Yes. The skill is a guide to writing the code, and deployed smart contracts are hard to change, so people should review them before they go live.
How do I install it?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/wshobson/agents --skill nft-standards.
What security audits does it have?
skills.sh lists three audits: Gen Agent Trust Hub Pass, Socket Warn and Snyk Pass. A Warn or Fail is worth reading before you install.
What are the best nft-standards alternatives?
Popular alternatives to nft-standards include solidity-security, web3-testing and defi-amm-security. See all nft-standards alternatives
