Description
openspec-verify-change is an agent skill from the OpenSpec project that checks whether an implementation matches its change artifacts. It compares the code with the specs, the tasks and the design, to validate that the implementation is complete, correct and coherent before the change is archived or shipped. Use it after the work is done and before you close the change, to find tasks that were skipped, requirements the code does not meet, or design decisions that were not followed. It reads the artifacts and the code, and it reports the gaps it finds rather than fixing them on its own. It runs the same guards as the other OpenSpec skills: if the work lives in a registered store, it selects that store and keeps its id for the workflow, and before any write it confirms the project has an OpenSpec root, so it does not create an openspec folder by accident. It is for developers and reviewers who want a second check against the written plan, and for teams that use OpenSpec to keep a feature honest about what was promised. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/fission-ai/openspec --skill openspec-verify-change.…
