Domain-specific knowledge base for building videos with Remotion and React
by remotion-devFree
Description
remotion-best-practices is an agent skill from the Remotion project, listed on skills.sh. It is a knowledge base for building videos in React with Remotion. It routes to more than 30 rule files covering animations, audio, assets, 3D content, charts, text, transitions and composition management, with specialised guidance for captions, FFmpeg operations, audio visualisation and sound effects. The skill acts as a router. If the person asks to create a new video or composition, it loads the guide for creating a video, even when a project already exists. If there is no Remotion project yet, it loads the guide for project setup. When the agent writes Remotion React markup, it loads the markup best-practice guide. It also tells the agent not to overwrite surprising changes that the user may have made outside the conversation, and to ask for confirmation instead. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.…
