Evaluate page content for usefulness, E-E-A-T, readability, thinness
by agricidanielFree
Description
seo-content is a Claude SEO skill that evaluates the quality of a page's text. It scores usefulness, E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust), readability, thinness and how ready the content is to be cited by AI answer systems. The analysis starts with Google's own three-question test from its helpful-content guidance: who created the page, how it was created and why it exists. A visible byline, an author bio page and professional credentials matter, and they are required where readers expect them and non-negotiable for YMYL topics. Process disclosure matters too, especially for AI-assisted content, and original research or first-hand evidence counts in its favor. Pages that answer all three questions weakly are flagged as at risk under Google's core ranking helpfulness signals. The skill also includes a last-mile draft cleanup that picks out AI-typical phrasing and similar patterns. It is installed with npx skills from the claude-seo repository, and its audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing, with Snyk showing a warning.…

seo-content FAQ
What does seo-content check?
Usefulness, E-E-A-T, readability, thinness and AI citation readiness of a page's content.
What is the who, how and why test?
Google's three-question heuristic: who created the content, how it was created and why it exists. Weak answers to all three put the page at risk.
Does it look at authorship?
Yes. It looks for a visible byline, an author bio page and professional credentials, which it treats as required where readers expect them.
Does it help with AI-written drafts?
It flags AI-typical phrasing in the draft and checks whether AI-assisted content discloses how it was made where readers would expect that.
How do I install it?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/agricidaniel/claude-seo --skill seo-content.
What do the security audits show?
Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket pass, and Snyk shows a warning.
