Description
shadcn-ui is a Stitch skill that helps a frontend engineer discover, install and customize shadcn/ui components in a project. shadcn/ui is a collection of accessible, customizable components built with Radix UI or Base UI and Tailwind CSS. The skill is clear about what that means: shadcn/ui is not a component library. Its components are copied into your codebase, so they live in your code rather than in node_modules. You get full ownership, complete customization (including the choice between Radix UI and Base UI primitives), no version lock-in because you update components selectively, and zero runtime overhead since there is no library bundle, only the code you need. The skill walks through browsing available components, then installation and integration. It is installed with npx skills from the google-labs-code/stitch-skills repository, and its security audits all pass.…
