Description
skill-lookup is an agent skill from the prompts.chat project by f, listed on skills.sh. It searches, retrieves and installs Agent Skills from the prompts.chat registry using MCP tools. The workflow searches for skills that match a request with search_skills, presents results with title, description, author and file list, and retrieves the chosen skill with get_skill to get all of its files. It then installs by saving the files into the .claude/skills folder under the skill's slug and checks that a SKILL.md file exists, before confirming the installation and explaining what the skill does and when it activates. The skill applies when a person asks to find skills, browse skill catalogues or install one. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows a Socket warning and a Snyk warning, with Gen Agent Trust Hub passing.…
