Description
springboot-tdd is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It sets out test-driven development for Spring Boot services, aiming at at least 80 per cent coverage across unit and integration tests. It uses JUnit 5 and Mockito for unit tests, MockMvc for web layer tests, Testcontainers for integration tests against real services, and JaCoCo for coverage. The workflow is to write the tests first so they fail, implement the minimum code to pass them, refactor with the tests green, and enforce the coverage target with JaCoCo. It applies when adding new features or endpoints, fixing bugs, refactoring, adding data access logic or security rules. Because it is a SKILL.md file of instructions, an AI agent loads it for those tasks and writes tests in the same sequence each time. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.…
Highlights
- Tests first, minimum code, then refactor
