Description
token-budget-advisor is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. Before it answers, it offers the person a choice of response depth, at 25, 50, 75 or 100 per cent, with a token estimate for each, and then answers at the level chosen. It intercepts the response flow to ask about depth first. The skill applies when a user wants to control how long or detailed an answer is, mentions tokens, budget, depth or length, or asks for a short version, a summary, a brief answer, or an exhaustive one. It does not trigger when the person has already set a level in the session, in which case that level is kept quietly, or when the answer would be a single line. The first step estimates the input's token count using the repository's context-budget heuristics. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.…
