Description
typescript-write is an agent skill for writing or modifying TypeScript and JavaScript code, including tests and test helpers, to Metabase's coding standards. It applies before any frontend edit, including test-only changes. Before it works, the skill asks the agent to read the frontend guidelines and the developer guide for the frontend, along with the shared references on development workflow, TypeScript commands and React and Redux patterns. Its central rule is that new, moved or edited code must not contain any, explicit or implicit. That rules out any annotations, as-any casts, untyped parameters or returns, and implicitly typed destructures. Untyped values should be stopped at the boundary, so JSON parsing and response results are captured as unknown and narrowed or validated before use. Because a passing type check does not show that any has not spread into the code, the skill requires a type check with the project's pure type-check command before a change is finished. Where TypeScript language server tools are available, it also asks the agent to inspect changed symbols. The skill then covers type tightening.…
