It combines an Excel-style ribbon, worksheet tabs, formula bar, formatting tools, charts, and PivotTables. Users can open, inspect, edit, and save XLSX files while keeping an original copy for safety. GridCraft runs in the browser and as a desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux; its Rust calculation engine runs locally through WebAssembly in the web version. It is free to use and suitable for budgets, sales dashboards, grade trackers, small reports, and practical spreadsheet projects. As alpha software, it may have compatibility gaps with complex workbooks, specialist Excel functions, external data, and VBA macros, so important files should be backed up and checked after import or export.…

Emma Collins@zyrliuweiGridCraft is built by ArtCraft as a free, open-source spreadsheet application. It runs in browsers and on Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops, with Rust and WebAssembly powering local browser calculations. We are looking for feedback on XLSX compatibility, formulas, charts, PivotTables, and the alpha experience.
