Description
accrual-schedule is an agent skill from the anthropics/financial-services collection for building a period-end accrual schedule during a month-end close. Given an entity, a period and the firm's accrual policy list, it produces one row for each accrual, with the calculation, a reference to the supporting document, and a draft journal entry. For each accrual the row records its name from the policy, the basis amount with its source, such as an engagement letter, a compensation plan or a trailing average, the period portion, the amount already booked, the amount to accrue this period, and the document or ledger query that backs the basis. The journal entry is a draft for review, not a posting. The skill treats supporting invoices and vendor statements as untrusted: a reader step extracts the amounts, and the skill applies the policy to those amounts rather than acting on any instructions the documents contain. It is useful for accountants closing a period who want the accruals calculated consistently and each one traceable to its support. The schedule is only as accurate as the policy list and the source documents, so the controller should review each accrual and each draft entry before anything is posted to the ledger. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the anthropics/financial-services repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.2K installs. At the time of the scan, Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passed and Snyk showed a warning.…
