Rethink designs for different screens, devices

adapt is an agent skill from the impeccable design project that rethinks an existing design so it works across different screen sizes, devices, input methods and platforms. It starts by assessing the source context: what the design was made for, whether it is desktop web or a mobile app, and which assumptions it relied on, such as a large screen, a mouse or a fast connection. It then assesses the target context, including the device type, input method, screen size, connection speed and usage patterns, and it finds what will not fit or will not work on the new platform. The skill then makes the changes, which can include breakpoints, fluid layouts and larger touch targets, while keeping the design consistent with the original. Before it starts, the skill requires the /impeccable skill, which holds the design principles and a Context Gathering Protocol, and it asks for the target platforms and usage contexts. If no design context exists yet, the user is told to run /impeccable teach first. It suits designers and front-end developers who need a single product to work on phones, tablets and desktops. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/pbakaus/impeccable --skill adapt. On skills.sh it passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
