add-lang

Add tree-sitter language support to codegraph end-to-end

add-lang is a contributor skill for the CodeGraph project that adds a new language to its tree-sitter extraction pipeline from start to finish. You name the language by its lowercase token, such as lua, elixir or zig, and the skill wires in the grammar and the extractor, writes the tests, benchmarks the extraction quality on popular repositories, and checks whether the language gives an agent a real retrieval advantage over working without CodeGraph. The benchmark uses the local development build, which the skill builds and links on the PATH. The skill is set up to run autonomously through the steps, and it has a house rule that it never commits, pushes, publishes or tags a release, leaving all of the changes for the maintainer to review. Prerequisites are node, git and gh, and a logged-in claude command-line client, because the benchmark starts real claude -p runs. It is for maintainers and contributors who want CodeGraph to understand a language it does not yet support, and who want evidence that the support helps. Because the benchmark spends model calls, keep an eye on usage. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub on skills.sh and shows a warning from Snyk.
