About agent-platform-deploy

A

agent-platform-deploy

Deploy open models or custom weights from Model Garden

Agent Platform deploy is an agent skill for deploying open models from Google Cloud's Model Garden to Agent Platform endpoints. It also checks the status of a deployment that is still in progress, and it can undeploy models to clean up resources. For copying a first-party tuned model from one project to a destination region or project and deploying it to a newly created endpoint, the skill points to a separate copy and deployment guide. Because deployments create billable resources, the skill follows a set of safety and confirmation tiers. Before it runs any command on your behalf, it classifies the action and asks for confirmation where the tier requires it, so that a deployment is not started or a resource is not removed without your agreement. The skill is meant for developers who want to serve an open model for online predictions on Agent Platform without writing the deployment steps by hand. It is published by Google on skills.sh under the google skills repository, which has about 21.3K stars and about 8.4K installs. The skills.sh listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk all passing.
