About ai-research-reproduction

ai-research-reproduction
Rigor Reproduce compatible skill slug
ai-research-reproduction is an agent skill from the rigorpilot-skills collection that guides the reproduction of a deep learning research repository, starting from its README. It is the Rigor Reproduce skill, with its installed name kept for compatibility. The goal is the smallest trustworthy run that leaves auditable evidence. The skill preserves what the documentation means, and it records assumptions, deviations and blockers rather than changing the method to make a run succeed. For a routine bounded run, it keeps a short control path. The assistant reads the README and only the test, config and source files it needs. It then uses an orchestration script in plan-only mode to list command candidates, selects one, and runs that candidate with a fingerprint that stops the run if the command set has changed. Evidence is written to a repro_outputs folder in the repository, and a verification step checks the output. The skill says the target command's timeout should not be wrapped by an equal or shorter outer timeout, because the orchestrator needs time to end its children and write its final evidence. It is useful for a researcher who wants to check that a published repository runs as documented. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Snyk, and Socket shows a warning.
