ai-slop-cleaner

Clean AI-generated code slop

ai-slop-cleaner is an agent skill from the oh-my-claudecode project that cleans up AI-generated code, sometimes called slop, without changing its intended behavior or drifting outside the requested scope. It is the bounded cleanup workflow for code that works but feels bloated, repetitive, weakly tested or over-abstracted. The skill is used when a user explicitly asks to deslop or remove AI slop, when code needs simplifying rather than new features, when follow-up work has left duplicate logic, dead code, wrapper layers, boundary leaks or thin regression coverage, or when the user wants a reviewer-only pass with a review flag that reports problems without editing. It is built around a deletion-first approach, removing what is not needed before adding anything, and it is regression-safe, meaning the existing tests are kept passing at each step. It is useful for teams that have accepted a lot of generated code and now need it tidied. Because the cleanup changes working code, the tests should be run after each change and the diff reviewed, and the skill should not be used as a way to make feature changes under cover of cleanup. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the yeachan-heo/oh-my-claudecode repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.5K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
