Anx Reader is an e-book reader for Android, HarmonyOS, iOS, Windows and macOS. It supports several e-book formats and organizes books on a bookshelf with customizable collections. The reading view lets you change fonts, text size, line spacing and margins, and it offers light, dark and sepia themes to reduce eye strain. You can mark important passages with color-coded highlights, write notes, and export the annotations. A context menu opens on a long press and gives access to dictionary definitions, translations and web search. Reading statistics show your time spent, reading speed and completion rates. An AI assistant powered by several models can answer questions about a book, summarize it and explore its themes. The app can keep the library, reading progress, bookmarks and annotations in sync across devices through a cloud integration. The site has a download page, documentation and an interface in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. The source code is on GitHub, and the site links to a privacy policy and terms of service.
