About arrange

A

arrange

Assess and improve layout spacing, visual hierarchy

arrange is an agent skill from the impeccable design project that improves the layout and spacing of a screen that feels monotonous, crowded or structurally weak. It turns a generic arrangement into a composition with intentional spacing and rhythm. The skill assesses the current layout first. It asks whether spacing is consistent or uses arbitrary padding and margin values, whether everything has the same spacing, which gives no rhythm, and whether related elements are grouped tightly with generous space between groups. It also looks at visual hierarchy, grid structure and the squint test, which checks which elements stand out as primary and secondary when the page is blurred. The skill then changes the spacing and structure to fix what it finds, such as monotonous grids and weak hierarchy. It requires the /impeccable skill, which holds the design principles, anti-patterns and Context Gathering Protocol, and it tells the user to run /impeccable teach first if no design context exists. It is for designers and developers who have a working screen that looks flat, or who want a page to read more clearly. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/pbakaus/impeccable --skill arrange. On skills.sh it passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
