About azure-pricing

A

azure-pricing

Fetches real-time Azure retail pricing using the Azure Retail Prices API

azure-pricing is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that looks up real-time Azure retail prices from the public Azure Retail Prices API and estimates cost for a workload. The API requires no authentication, so the skill can answer questions directly: what a given virtual machine size costs, how prices compare across regions or SKUs, what reserved instances cost against pay-as-you-go, and how savings plans and spot pricing work. It is also used to produce a cost estimate for a workload or architecture, and to estimate the agent credit consumption of a Copilot Studio agent. The skill documents the API endpoint and the query it uses, so the agent can filter by service, region and SKU. Retail prices are the public list prices, which are not always the price an organization pays under an enterprise agreement, discounts or reservations, so the estimates are a planning figure rather than a bill. Prices can also change over time, so the skill's answers should be treated as current only as of the lookup. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 4.6K installs and passing results from Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, with Snyk showing a warning at the time of the scan.
