About azure-quotas

azure-quotas
Check and manage Azure quotas and usage across regions
azure-quotas is an agent skill from Microsoft's azure-skills collection for checking and managing Azure quotas, which are the maximum number of resources you can deploy in a subscription, and the usage against them across regions. It is meant for deployment planning, capacity validation and region selection. Its most important rule concerns the tool. The Azure CLI command group az quota is described as the only reliable way to check quotas. The skill warns that the REST API and the Azure portal are unreliable and can show a misleading 'No Limit' value that does not mean capacity is unlimited. The overview explains that quotas prevent accidental over-provisioning, help distribute resources fairly across Azure, and represent the available capacity in each region. Some quotas can be increased and others are fixed. The key point is that without quota a resource cannot be deployed, so the agent should check quotas when it plans a deployment or chooses a region. Its trigger phrases include check quotas and service limits. The skill is listed on skills.sh, and it is one of the Azure skills in the same collection as azure-prepare and azure-validate.
