About azure-validate

azure-validate
Pre-deployment validation for Azure readiness
azure-validate is an agent skill from Microsoft's azure-skills collection that runs pre-deployment checks before an application goes to Azure. It checks configuration, the infrastructure code (Bicep or Terraform), role-based access control (RBAC) role assignments, and managed identity setup. It runs recipe-specific validation commands, such as Bicep builds, Terraform validation and Azure CLI preflight checks. The skill requires a prerequisite: the azure-prepare skill must already have run and produced a .azure/deployment-plan.md file whose status is Approved or later. If that plan is missing, the instructions tell the agent to stop and run azure-prepare first. The skill sits in the middle of the azure-prepare, azure-validate and azure-deploy sequence. It is listed on skills.sh and is meant for developers who want problems caught before a deployment runs.
