About backend-code-review

B

backend-code-review

Use only when the user explicitly requests a review or audit of backend code

backend-code-review is an agent skill from the Dify repository by LangGenius, listed on skills.sh. It runs a review of backend code under the api folder, but only when a person explicitly asks for a review or audit. It supports reviews of pending changes, of specific files and of a pasted diff. The method is evidence first: read the changed lines, their owner, nearby tests and the docstrings that define contracts, and trace callers, persistence, authorisation, generated schemas or external calls only where they decide correctness. It reports only findings tied to an observable failure, a violated contract, a security boundary, a data integrity risk or a demonstrated maintenance problem. The skill routes to rule packs by what the diff touches, such as database models and migrations, controller and service dependency direction, table access outside a repository boundary, and SQLAlchemy sessions, transactions and raw SQL. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
