About backend-dev-guidelines

backend-dev-guidelines
Build or review Langfuse backend code
backend-dev-guidelines is an agent skill from the Langfuse project's skills collection, listed on skills.sh. It is for building or reviewing Langfuse backend code, across the web, worker and shared packages folders of the monorepo. The skill applies to a set of typical backend tasks: creating or changing tRPC routers and procedures, public REST API endpoints, queue processors, producers and queue-backed workflows, backend services and repositories, and backend auth, middleware, validation and observability. It also covers Prisma and ClickHouse data access, adding a field, option, flag or enum member to shared backend code, and writing or fixing backend tests. The skill tells the agent how to read it, in the order its sections are arranged, so the rules for each task are followed. It is for engineers working on the Langfuse backend, or on a similar TypeScript backend that uses the same stack.
