About blast-radius

B

blast-radius

Find what a change could break somewhere else before it ships, beyond the diff

blast-radius is an agent skill from Cursor's plugins collection for finding what a code change could break somewhere else before it ships. It goes beyond the diff: listing the callers of a function is not the job, because an agent can grep for those in seconds, and the skill is aimed at the breakage that a search would not show. Its central rule is not to trust a convincing write-up. A blast-radius summary can read as correct whether or not it is, so the agent should identify the one or two facts that the change's safety depends on and prove them by running real code. For each fact it should push the confidence as far as is cheap and state where it stopped. The skill is a companion to two other skills, how, which explains what the code does, and why, which explains why it is shaped that way. Blast radius tells you what the change breaks elsewhere. It suits reviewing a small diff you do not yet trust, or answering questions such as what could this break. It is listed on skills.sh, where the page shows install counts and GitHub stars for the Cursor plugins repository, and its security audits all pass. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/cursor/plugins --skill blast-radius.
