About bmad-forge-idea

bmad-forge-idea
Test a half-formed idea in a questioning conversation
BMad Forge Idea tests a half-formed idea by questioning it. Instead of building or planning, it runs a conversation in which different personas probe the idea's weak points, one question at a time, until you can either act on it with conviction or drop it. The point is to surface what you have not examined yet, such as unchecked assumptions and decisions left open, while changing your mind is still cheap. The skill works on many kinds of ideas, not only products. It presses on vague claims and does not steer the conversation towards building something. Strengthening the idea, rejecting it or thinking it through more clearly all count as finished outcomes. When an idea about a product or feature survives the questioning, the skill can write a short forged idea to hand to a later planning step, but that is optional. The personas are resolved by the skill's own script inside the BMad setup, and the skill reads its settings from the project's _bmad/ folder. It is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free. Its security audits show passes from Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, and a warning from Snyk.
