About bmad-ux

bmad-ux
Capture the user's UX vision in two documents: DESIGN.md
BMad UX captures your UX vision in two documents. DESIGN.md records how the product looks: its visual identity, colors, typography, layout, components and do's and don'ts. EXPERIENCE.md records how it behaves: information architecture, voice and tone, component behaviour, states, interactions, accessibility, and the key user flows. The two documents are peers, and EXPERIENCE.md refers to design tokens in DESIGN.md by name. The skill works as a UX facilitator and elicits your vision rather than imposing its own. It only suggests colors, patterns or directions when a theme is already in place and you confirm it, and it can render options with creative tools when seeing them helps. The choices are always yours. DESIGN.md follows a published Google Labs spec, with YAML frontmatter for tokens and a markdown body in a fixed order. Both documents are shaped by example files that the project provides. Use it when you say something like 'let's create UX' for a product. It reads its settings from the project's _bmad/ folder, and if BMad is not set up there it offers to run setup first. The skill is part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars.
