About claude-security

claude-security
Claude Security: scan the codebase
claude-security is an agent skill from Anthropic's official plugins collection, listed on skills.sh. It runs a security review of a codebase in one of three ways: a scan of the whole repository or a chosen part of it, a scan of changes, which means the diff of the current branch, a pull request or a single commit, or a suggestion of patches for findings. When the user does not say which job they want, the skill opens with a menu of those three options and recommends scanning the codebase. Before a scan starts it asks one confirmation question, unless the request already accepted the scan's time or token cost. It also suggests auto mode for smoother runs. The skill's page warns that it contains shell command directives that can run commands on the system, so the page says to review it carefully before installing. It is for developers who want an AI-assisted security check of their own code, run from inside their project.
