About clerk-cli

clerk-cli
Operate the Clerk CLI (`clerk` binary) for authentication
clerk-cli is an agent skill for operating the Clerk command-line tool, which is a pre-authenticated gateway to Clerk's Backend API and Platform API and to project tooling. With the clerk command, an agent can manage authentication, users, organisations and sessions, impersonate a user for debugging, test webhooks locally, verify a deployment, link a project, pull environment variables and configure the instance. The skill's rule is to reach for the clerk command first whenever a request touches a Clerk resource, instead of writing raw curl calls by hand. For setup and initialisation it defers to the clerk-setup skill, which is the source of truth for the package runner, the accountless mode and the migration and init steps. It also explains the execution environment, including a warning about sandboxes that can limit what the command can reach. The skill is part of the clerk skills repository and is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. Its audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passed, with Snyk showing a warning. It suits developers building on Clerk who want an agent to run routine account and instance tasks through the official tool.
