cli-mastery is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that acts as an interactive trainer for the GitHub Copilot CLI. It teaches the tool through guided lessons, quizzes, scenario challenges and a full reference that covers slash commands, keyboard shortcuts and the modes the CLI offers. A learner can ask to be taught from the beginning, to be quizzed on a module, to take on a scenario challenge, or to look up a reference topic, and the skill routes each request to the matching lesson, quiz or reference section. Quizzes ask at least five questions per module, and the skill reads each module as needed rather than loading the whole course at once. It answers direct questions about the CLI without loading the course. The skill is for people who are learning the Copilot CLI, and for those who want a cheat sheet or a final exam to check their knowledge. It is about the command-line tool only, so general coding questions and IDE-only features are outside its scope. The learning material describes the tool as it was documented when the skill was written, so commands and shortcuts should be checked against the installed version of the CLI. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 2.1K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
