About cmux-diagnostics

C

cmux-diagnostics

Run end-user cmux diagnostics

Cmux-diagnostics collects and explains support-safe diagnostics for cmux, so an end user can work out what is wrong without sharing secrets. It covers hooks, notifications, session restore, settings, browser automation, socket access, CLI control and agent resume. The skill defaults to read-only checks, and it is explicit about what it must never dump: hook configuration files, session stores, prompt logs, tokens and environment secrets. You start with a quick report from a bundled read-only script, which runs from whichever install path exists, whether that is a cmux checkout, the installed skill folder, or a Codex install. Workspace names, working directory paths and current identifiers are only included when you pass the context option and they are relevant to the problem. The skill then walks through a checklist of what to inspect. It is listed on skills.sh as part of the cmux project by manaflow-ai, and its security audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk all passing.
