About cmux-keyboard-shortcuts

cmux-keyboard-shortcuts

Guide and apply cmux keyboard shortcut customization

Cmux-keyboard-shortcuts turns your workflow preferences into keyboard shortcut bindings for the cmux app. You describe how you like to work, and the skill guides you through the choices, proposes compact shortcut templates, applies the changes you select, and confirms that the config file parses with recognized keys. The bindings are written to the shortcuts section of the cmux configuration file in your home folder, so they persist across restarts. The skill can customize, rebind, unbind, reset or audit shortcuts, and it can create reusable shortcut templates. Every change goes through the cmux settings helper, which reads the JSONC config file, writes it atomically and validates both the JSON and the setting keys. Shortcuts that the app owns can be seen and edited in its Settings screen, so the skill's changes are also visible there. The skill is listed on skills.sh as part of the cmux project by manaflow-ai.
