Add a capability to the CURRENT Convex app
convex-add is an agent skill for adding a named capability to an existing Convex app. It first consults a served catalog of Convex capabilities. If one matches the user's request, such as billing, crons, auth, an agent or search, the skill fetches that capability's documentation and follows its procedure and rules, which means it can use up-to-date steps without a plugin release. If the catalog cannot be reached or no entry matches, the skill falls back to its older behaviour: for hosting it wires in the static hosting component, and for anything else it runs a search script and installs the best-matching Convex component. The skill is part of the get-convex agent-skills repository and is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. Its security audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk each with a warning, so review the skill's files and the components it installs before running it on a production app. It suits developers who want to extend a Convex app with a common feature without searching for the right component themselves.
