About council

council
Convene a four-voice council for ambiguous decisions, tradeoffs
council is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. For an ambiguous decision, it convenes four advisors who each give a view: the in-context Claude voice, a Skeptic subagent, a Pragmatist subagent and a Critic subagent. The point is structured disagreement, so tradeoffs and objections are surfaced before a choice is made. It is meant for decisions where several paths are credible and none is obviously best, for go or no-go calls that would benefit from adversarial challenge, for requests for second opinions or dissent, and for cases where the conversation risks anchoring on the first answer. The skill states that it is for decision-making under ambiguity, not for code review, implementation planning or architecture design. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source.
