About daily-prep

D

daily-prep

Prepare for tomorrow's meetings and tasks

daily-prep is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that prepares a person for the next working day. It generates a structured prep file with the meeting details, prep notes for each meeting, the tasks linked to those meetings and productivity recommendations. It pulls the calendar from Outlook through the WorkIQ connection, cross-references the open tasks and the workspace context, and classifies the meetings. The skill is run at the end of the day to prepare for tomorrow, or at any time for a specific date, and it can be run for several days together for weekly planning. By default the target date is tomorrow, and when that falls on a weekend the skill moves to Monday. The output is an HTML file saved in an outputs folder organized by year and month. The skill is useful for people whose days are full of meetings and who want the context for each one gathered in advance. Because it reads a calendar and tasks, the file it produces contains personal and work information, so it should be stored where only the owner can read it, and the owner should check it before relying on it. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.3K installs, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing and Snyk showing a warning at the time of the scan.
