Before writing anything it asks for the target's name, sector and business model, the deal type (platform acquisition, add-on, growth equity, recapitalisation or carve-out), the size and complexity that set how deep diligence goes, any known concerns to prioritise such as customer concentration or regulatory risk, and the timeline for the letter of intent and closing. Once the scope is confirmed, it produces a checklist across the workstreams for that sector. It is written for deal teams working through an acquisition or investment, and it keeps the checklist as a working list that can be tracked as items are completed.
