deploy-checklist

Pre-deployment verification checklist

Deploy-checklist is an agent skill that generates a pre-deployment checklist to confirm a release is ready before it ships. It is meant for the moment before a release goes out, and for changes that carry extra risk, such as a deployment that includes database migrations or feature flags. The checklist also covers verifying that CI status is green, so that the build being shipped has actually passed its checks. You run it with /deploy-checklist and name the service or release. The output is a structured document with a header for the service or release, the date, and the name of the person deploying, followed by the checks to work through. Having the checklist written down before a deploy makes it easier to hand the release to someone else and to show later what was verified. The skill is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins and uses the engineering connector guide for the tools that report build and deploy status.
