About design-system

design-system
Generate a design system from an existing codebase or audit one
design-system is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It works in two modes. In generate mode it reads an existing codebase and produces a cohesive design system by extracting tokens for colours, typography, spacing and shadows. In audit mode it checks an existing UI for visual consistency, so that inconsistencies that make an interface look off can be pinned down. It is meant for starting a project that needs a design system, auditing a codebase before a redesign, understanding what visual rules are already in use, and reviewing pull requests that touch styling. The skill's output is a set of tokens and findings rather than new screens, so a team can use it as a starting point for a shared style guide. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows a Snyk warning, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing.
