diff-intake
Reads a PR or branch diff and produces a structured YAML change brief
by amplitudeFree
Description
diff-intake is the first step of the Amplitude analytics instrumentation workflow. It reads a pull request or branch diff and produces a compact, machine-readable YAML change brief. The brief is then used by the downstream skills, discover-event-surfaces and instrument-events, to decide which analytics events a change should send. The skill fetches the list of changed files from the source and categorizes each one, so the later steps know which parts of the change matter for tracking. The output is only the YAML block, with no prose around it, so that the following skills can parse it reliably. The skill says it should be the first step whenever a change needs analytics, and it is part of the amplitude mcp-marketplace repository. It is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. Engineers who use the other instrumentation skills run this one first, because the change brief decides what the rest of the pipeline looks at. Its security audit results are Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passed, with Snyk showing a warning.…
