About eval-harness

eval-harness
Eval-driven development (EDD) framework for AI coding sessions
eval-harness is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It is a formal evaluation framework for Claude Code sessions based on eval-driven development, where evals are treated as the unit tests of AI-assisted work. The skill has the agent define capability and regression evals before coding starts, grade results with code-based, model-based and human checks, run the evals continuously as work proceeds, and track regressions with each change. It measures reliability with pass@k metrics. Typical uses are setting up eval-driven development for an AI-assisted workflow, defining pass and fail criteria for a task, building regression suites for prompt or agent changes, and benchmarking an agent across model versions. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
